The lawyer, Ben Crump, said Floyd\u2019s funeral would start at 11 a.m.
He said the black man\u2019s funeral would follow an afternoon memorial this Thursday in Minnesota \u2014 where Floyd died after a white cop knelt on his neck for nearly 9 minutes during a routine arrest May 25 \u2014 and a service Saturday afternoon in North Carolina, Floyd\u2019s birth place.
A public viewing will be held in Houston the night before he is laid to rest, Crump said.<\/p>\n
