\nPresident Donald Trump is challenging presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden (D) to take the same cognitive test he claims he \u201caced.\u201d
During an interview on Fox News\u2019 \u201cFox News Sunday,\u201d Trump blasted Biden\u2019s competency and suggested the former vice president could not pass the same cognitive test he took.
Wallace showed Trump a new poll that found a majority of respondents said Biden has the mental soundness to be president, leading Trump by 4%.
\u201cI tell you what, let\u2019s take a test, let\u2019s take a test right now. Let\u2019s go down, Joe and I. We\u2019ll take a test. Let him take the same test that I took,\u201d Trump said.
Wallace interjected to say that he took the test that Trump took, and, \u201cIt\u2019s not the hardest test\u2026 There\u2019s a picture, and it says, \u2018What\u2019s that?\u2019 And it\u2019s an elephant.\u201d
However, Trump insisted that Wallace\u2019s description of the test was \u201call misrepresentation.\u201d
\u201cYes, the first few questions are easy. But I\u2019ll bet you couldn\u2019t even answer the last five questions. I\u2019ll bet you couldn\u2019t. They get very hard,\u201d Trump said.
When Wallace noted that one of the questions asks the test-taker to count back from 100 by seven, Trump said, \u201cYou couldn\u2019t answer many of the questions.\u201d
However, when asked for an example of one of the questions, Trump said he would get Wallace a copy of the test. He added, \u201cBut I guarantee you that Joe Biden could not answer those questions. And I answered all 35 questions correctly.\u201d
Trump has repeatedly sought to raise questions about Biden\u2019s physical and mental health as polls have regularly found him trailing the former vice president.
Trump has previously challenged Biden to take a cognitive test, as IJR reported.
In a tweet, Trump wrote, \u201cHe cannot pass the test I \u2018aced.\u2019 He should give it a try!\u201d<\/p>\n
