According to Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Powell \u201cbrokered the \u2018road map\u2019 to a two-state peace deal that still informs much of U.S. policy in the region\u201d and spoke Yiddish as a second language. \u201cWe have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American,\u201d Powell\u2019s family said.
