\nAs temperatures drop in the Triangle, it’s time to think about raking the leaves. Loose leaf collections starts in Cary and Garner on Monday. Leaves not in bags, bundles or containers can simply be taken straight to the curb. Cary town leaders said workers will go to each street three times by Feb.6. Residents can find out when their street is scheduled for a pickup by clicking here, or downloading the Cary Collects app. In Garner, leaves will be collected on recycling days. Meanwhile, Raleigh will begin loose leaf collection on Nov.8. Residents are asked to check the collection schedule to see when workers will come by for pickup. Residents wanting their loose leaves to be picked up should not place the leaves on or in storm drains, water meters, sidewalks, sewers or near mailboxes. Other yard waste, such as rocks, grass clippings and sticks are not collected. Workers ask that residents keep other yard waste out of the loose leaf piles.<\/p>\n
