\nLess than two months after being convicted of murdering his close friend Susan Berman for witnessing a crime, millionaire Robert Durst was indicted Monday for the crime he was allegedly trying to cover up: His 1982 murder of wife Kathie Durst. Durst appeared in HBO\u2019s documentary \u201cThe Jinx: The Life and Death of Robert Durst,\u201d a documentary detailing his history and the alleged murders. In the documentary, Durst admitted to lying to police about events the night of Kathie Durst\u2019s disappearance in the hopes that it \u201cwould just make everything go away.\u201d \u201cIt hadn\u2019t occurred to me that anything had happened to her,\u201d Durst said of his first wife\u2019s disappearance while testifying for the Berman trial. \u201cIt was more like: What had Kathie done to Kathie?\u201d Durst is on a ventilator in a Los Angeles state prison medical unit due to Covid-19 complications.<\/p>\n
