\nHollywood is mourning the death of One Direction member Liam Payne after he unexpectedly died at the age of 31 on Wednesday.
The UK-born pop star was staying at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when he fell from the third floor, state police announced.
Heiress Paris Hilton spoke out about the devastating news on X, writing, \u201cSo upsetting to hear the news of @LiamPayne passing. Sending love and condolences to his family & loved ones. RIP my friend.\u201d
Singer Charlie Puth took to his Instagram Story to share a series of photographs with Payne and a grieving message.
\u201cI am in shock right now,\u201d the \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk Anymore\u201d singer wrote. \u201cLiam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with.
\u201cI can not believe he is gone \u2026 I am so upset right now, may he rest in peace.\u201d

Several witnesses told TMZ they saw the singer fall after he was behaving erratically around 5 p.m. local time.
The outlet reported that the \u201cNight Changes\u201d singer smashed his laptop and was carried back to his hotel room.
It\u2019s unclear if the fall was an accident or intentional.
Photos obtained by TMZ showed Payne\u2019s body on the hotel\u2019s deck while surrounded by chairs and tables.
The picture didn\u2019t show the \u201cWhat Makes You Beautiful\u201d crooner\u2019s full body but his tattoos were visible on his arm and hip.
Payne rose to fame alongside his One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, in 2010.
He stayed in contact with the boy group since they split in 2015, and most recently attended Horan\u2019s concert at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires earlier this month.
The British icon previously opened up about hitting \u201crock bottom\u201d and turning to drugs and alcohol while performing with One Direction.
Payne shared 7-year-old son Bear Grey with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Cole, whom he dated from 2016 to 2018.<\/p>\n
