\nFormer Fox News anchor Bill O\u2019Reilly is now going public with details about his illness, revealing it\u2019s \u201ca hereditary condition involving internal bleeding.\u201d
\u201cI am absolutely stunned by the reaction to my medical situation,\u201d said the host of \u201cThe No Spin News\u201d in a new column.
\u201cYou can do a lot of thinking while sitting in a hospital for four days. A hereditary condition involving internal bleeding took me down temporarily. I hope. I have the best medical team led by Dr. Ira Jacobson, trying to keep me on the field.\u201d
O\u2019Reilly is thankful to have a malady while living in America, noting, \u201cThank God we don\u2019t have socialized medicine in this country. I\u2019d be in a dark container right now.\u201d
He also expressed a fearlessness when it comes to his eventual time to depart this world.
\u201cIt will make Blue \u00d6yster Cult happy to know that I don\u2019t \u2018fear the reaper’,\u201d O\u2019Reilly indicated.
\u201cI\u2019ll give the malady the Barney Frank treatment and fight the good fight. Plenty of folks have far worse situations than mine. The longevity thing is not up to me. My Christian belief is that we are all here for a reason and there is, indeed, a time for every season.\u201d
O\u2019Reilly was touched by the amount of well-wishers, saying: \u201cWhen I announced a short medical work pause, I did not expect the enormous outpouring of concern. Yes, a few usual suspects tried to damage me and my family further, and karma will deal with them. The good news is that the haters are far outnumbered by benevolent people.
\u201cSo, onward. The No Spin Nation will continue to be my primary concern. Good people, noble country. We\u2019ll carry on.\u201d
O\u2019Reilly has not lost his edgy political commentary, as his latest column focuses on the violence in Minnesota.
\u201cThere is no question that Minnesota Governor Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Frey are both defying federal law on immigration enforcement. Frey is simply a punk, rushing to the podium on Saturday to condemn federal agents before any solid evidence emerged as to why an armed Minnesota citizen was shot dead by Border Patrol agents,\u201d O\u2019Reilly wrote.
