\nCatherine O\u2019Hara \u2014 known for her work in \u201cSchitt\u2019s Creek,\u201d \u201cHome Alone,\u201d and \u201cBest In Show\u201d \u2014 has died, TMZ reported.
O\u2019Hara died Friday, according to two sources. The cause of death was not immediately available.
O\u2019Hara played the mother in the first two \u201cHome Alone\u201d movies and portrayed Moira Rose in \u201cSchitt\u2019s Creek.\u201d
She also had roles in the mockumentaries \u201cBest in Show,\u201d and \u201cA Mighty Wind\u201d and also starred in \u201cBeetlejuice Beetlejuice\u201d and the \u201cBeetlejuice.\u201d
Most recently, she worked with Seth Rogen in the Apple TV+ series, \u201cThe Studio.\u201d She earned an Emmy nomination for her work.
She won an Emmy Award for her work in \u201cSchitt\u2019s Creek\u201d in 2020. She received her first Emmy in 1982 for her writing contributions to the sketch comedy TV series, \u201cSCTV Network 90.\u201d
Catherine was born and raised in Toronto. She met her husband, production designer Bo Welch, on the set of \u201cBeetlejuice.\u201d They got married in 1992 and had two sons, Matthew and Luke.
