For \u20ac250 less than the Signature, you can have the Moto Razr 60 Ultra. Or the Poco F8 Ultra. After nearly a month of waiting, the Motorola Signature is.<\/b>
\nAfter nearly a month of waiting, the Motorola Signature is finally out \u2013 but its \u20ac1,000 starting price may prove to be a tough sell. Meanwhile, there are some powerful flagships that used to cost \u20ac1,000 or so that may offer a better deal.
The Motorola Signature is a fairly slim and light phone (7.0mm, 186g) that is equipped with a 6.8\u201d LTPO display (165Hz, 1264p) and a 5,200mAh battery (90W wired, 50W wireless charging). It has four 50MP cameras \u2013 1\/1.28\u201d main (OIS), 3x\/71mm telephoto (1\/1.95\u201d, OIS), 122\u00b0 ultra-wide and a selfie camera.
The phone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 paired with a USB 3.1 Gen2 port (DisplayPort 1.4) and Motorola\u2019s desktop environment (though Google is working on a native Android version too). It starts with Android 16 out of the box and will receive 7 major OS updates.
However, for \u20ac250 less you can have the foldable Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite (which is a bit slower than the 8 Gen 5) and has a similarly-sized 4,700mAh battery (68W wired, 30W wireless). It has three 50MP cameras on board \u2013 1\/1.56\u201d main (OIS), 122\u00b0 ultra-wide and a selfie camera. There\u2019s no telephoto module.
Or you can have a look at the Realme GT 8 Pro \u2013 this one is faster than both with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It may not be as thin or light (8.2mm, 214g), but it has a massive 7,000mAh battery (120W wired, 50W wireless). It also has a sharper 6.79\u201d 1440p+ OLED display (144Hz, but it\u2019s not LTPO).
The phone has a 50MP main camera with a 1\/1.56\u201d sensor (and OIS), however, the star is the 200MP 3x\/65mm periscope (OIS) with a large 1\/1.56\u201d sensor. The 50MP ultra-wide (116\u00b0) and 32MP selfie cameras round things off.
Next up, the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra. The Pro model has a 6.59\u201d 120Hz OLED display and the older Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, plus a 6,210mAh battery (100W wired charging). The camera system includes a 50MP main (1\/1.55\u201d, OIS), 50MP 2.5x\/60mm telephoto and an 8MP ultra-wide.
The Poco F8 Ultra upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, matching the Realme. While it doesn\u2019t have a 200MP periscope, it does have a longer 5x\/115mm lens with a 50MP sensor, plus a 50MP main with a larger 1\/1.31\u201d sensor (OIS) and a 50MP 102\u00b0 ultra-wide. From the other side of the Xiaomi family come the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro. Both have 6.83\u201d displays and 5,500mAh batteries. The vanilla model supports 67W wired-only charging and features a Dimensity 8400 Ultra.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro upgrades to the Dimensity 9400+ and brings more capable charging \u2013 90W wired and 50W wireless. More importantly, it has better cameras with a 50MP 1\/1.31\u201d main (vs. 50MP 1\/1.55\u201d) and a longer 50MP 5x\/115mm periscope (vs. 50MP 2x\/46mm). Motorola unveiled the Moto G67 and G77 earlier this week. Both have survived MIL-STD-810H testing and yet are rated only IP64 for water resistance. Both have 6.78\u201d 120Hz OLED displays and 5,200mAh batteries too (30W wired-only charging).
One is powered by the Dimensity 6300, the other by the 6400, but it\u2019s essentially the same silicon. The one actual difference is that the G77 features a 108MP main camera with OIS, while the G67 only gets a 50MP module (with a small 1\/1.95\u201d sensor). Both have the same 8MP ultra-wide and 32MP selfie cameras.
The G67 and G77 are still on pre-order and will be out in early February. In the meantime, have a look at the Motorola Edge 60 from last year. Its screen is a bit smaller at 6.67\u201d, but its battery is the same size at 5,200mAh (and it supports faster 68W charging to boot). Its Dimensity 7300 chipset is faster. The phone makes up for the lack of a 108MP camera with a combination of a 50MP 1\/1.56\u201d main and a 10MP 3x\/73mm telephoto. It also has a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP selfie camera.
Finally, Amazon has its Kindle Colorsoft e-book reader on sale. The Signature version has more storage (32GB) and wireless charging. Alternatively, you can pick up the Kids mode, which has half the storage, but comes with a sturdy case, 24 months of worry-free guarantee and 12 months of Amazon Kids+ for free (essentially a streaming service for e-books).<\/p>\n
