\nAs the Seattle Seahawks prepare to take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 2026, the world has its eyes not only on the team\u2019s quarterback Sam Darnold, but also the leading lady in his life, Katie Hoofnagle.
On Jan. 25, the couple stole the show following the team\u2019s NFC championship win against the Los Angeles Rams as Hoofnagle joined her beau on the football field for a celebratory kiss.
NFL cameras at the game captured the sweet moment as Hoofnagle showed her love for the football star.
\u201cI love you,\u201d Hoofnagle gushed before planting the smooch on her fianc\u00e9. \u201cI\u2019m so proud of you. Hey, you did that!\u201d
Darnold then lightheartedly responded, \u201cWe did that.\u201d

Hoofnagle and Darnold went public with their relationship on Instagram in April 2023.
\u201cHappy little moments ????????????????,\u201d Hoofnagle captioned an Instagram carousel, featuring images of a bouquet gifted from Darnold and selfies from their date nights.
Hoofnagle then started posting photos from the sidelines of Darnold\u2019s games.
In February 2025, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2025 NFL Honors. Photos showed Hoofnagle complimenting her beau\u2019s classic black suit with a shimmering silver gown.
Darnold popped the question in July 2025.
The professional athlete chose to stage the big moment against a dreamy beach backdrop in Dana Point, Calif.

After graduating from the University of South Carolina in 2020, where she majored in marketing and minored in nutrition, Hoofnagle moved to Charlotte, N.C.
She served as a mortgage loan officer for Loan Pronto in Charlotte before she relocated to Seattle.
Since October 2024, Hoofnagle has been employed by tech company Renvio as an account manager, per her LinkedIn. The company focuses on dialysis machine software to assist people with kidney diseases.
The marketing professional goes by the name @_hoofy on Instagram.
In her most recent post, Hoofnagle congratulated her future husband on his NFC Championship win with a pointed message for Seahawks fans.
\u201cWE\u2019RE NOT DONE YET!!!\u201d she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Darnold locking lips on the field after the team\u2019s win against the Rams.
Darnold has rarely discussed his relationship publicly. However, he previously gushed about his then-girlfriend and the \u201cunbelievable\u201d support he receives from her in a March 2025 Us Weekly interview.
\u201cShe just understands it. She\u2019s a former athlete herself, and just gets kind of the grind of everything. When I just want to chill, she\u2019s very up for that, especially during the season,\u201d he said at the time.
He continued to tell the outlet that Hoofnagle helps him get out of the house during his off season.
\u201cIf she wants to go somewhere and I just want to chill, she\u2019s like, \u2018Let\u2019s go out to dinner. We need to go to dinner.\u2019\u201d
