Microsoft Edge in latest Windows 10 Insider Preview comes with WebRTC 1.0 support

NewsHubEarlier this week, Microsoft released Windows 10 build 15019 to Insiders on the Fast Ring. It included features such as Game Mode, improved emoji support and text-to-speech for eBooks in Edge, among other things. Edge browser was also updated with support for WebRTC 1.0 API and related technologies for plugin-free video communication.
Microsoft revealed in a blog post, that the version of Edge available in the latest Windows 10 preview supports the WebRTC 1.0 API, and H.264/AVC and VP8 video codecs for real-time communication. The company began work on supporting these modern web communication technologies in 2015, with ORTC in EdgeHTML 13 and later with H.
