After a barrage of bad news for Windows Phones over the past few weeks, it would seem that some good news is in order. The popular messaging app Viber is getting a hefty update for Windows 10 devices.
Launched in July last year , the UWP app has seen regular updates and improvements at a time when big title apps and games such as Minecraft are abandoning the platform. As Windows Phones become a bare bones version of what it once was and the platform’s app story deteriorates, services such as Viber will become even more vital to keep the UWP platform alive.
