There was a bit of excitement for those interested in the Switch as an early video of the OS and unboxing hit the internet this week. Unfortunately, the unit was part of a batch that was stolen.
Remember that Switch console that made it out in the wild before its official release? Well, it appears that it wasn’t a unit that arrived early from a retailer but was in fact stolen.
Nintendo has chimed in on the incident, explaining what actually occurred. In a statement to IGN, the firm revealed that a small number of units were stolen by an employee of a US distributor.
