A car struck and injured two women at JFK Airport Monday morning, Port Authority police said.
A car struck and injured two women at JFK Airport Monday morning, Port Authority police said. The accident occurred in Terminal 5 when a Nissan Rogue hit a red Jeep Liberty, causing the Jeep to run into the pedestrians at 7: 45 a.m., authorities said.
EMS took the two women, who are 38 and 59, to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The 59-year-old woman was being evaluated for a possible broken leg, officials said.
Police did not immediately arrest either driver or issue any summonses. The departure level at Terminal 5 was temporarily closed but re-opened at 8: 10 a.m., authorities said.
