A 10-year-old boy has died in Winchester after police said his sled went into traffic.
Authorities were called to Michigan Street after reports of a child hit by a vehicle.
They said the boy had been sledding on a hill near his home when his sled went into the road and collided with a car.
A bystander heard the accident and rushed to the scene and began CPR.
The boy was brought to Cheshire Medical Center where he later died.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle involved is fully cooperating with police. They do not believe speed or impairment were factors.
