MUSKEGON, MI – A car apparently speeding on a quiet residential street crashed into a former school in Muskegon Monday afternoon.
The female driver reportedly was found unconscious in the sedan that sustained heavy front-end damage. Information on her condition was not immediately available.
The woman’s car, a black Dodge Charger, struck the side of the former Craig School on Park Street between Southern and Forest avenues shortly after 2 p.m. on Dec. 4. It appeared the car left the roadway near Forest Avenue.
The city of Muskegon’s building inspection service was called to assess the damage to the brick school building.
