A 51-year-old Quincy woman was killed in a two-vehicle on Christmas Eve, the Michigan State Police reports.
The crash happened at 5:38 p.m. Dec. 24, on Marshall Road near County Line Road, at the Calhoun/Branch county line.
Lorraine Cutler, 51, of Quincy was a front seat passenger in a southbound vehicle that lost control and slid into the path of a northbound vehicle. Cutler died from injuries suffered in the crash, the Michigan State Police reports.
Cutler’s 13-year-old male relative was also injured in the crash and transported to a hospital for treatment, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
Cutler was born April 25,1966 in Coldwater, to Raymond and Joyce (Adams) Litwaitis, according to her obituary .
She graduated from Quincy High School in 1984 and enjoyed arts, crafts, baking, gardening, music, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, the obituary states.
She is survived by daughters, Larissa K. Cutler of South Haven and Jessica R. Cutler of Quincy; sons, Job-Tyler V. Cutler of Quincy, Jacob D. Cutler of Coldwater, Joseph T. Cutler of South Haven and Levi K. Cutler of Quincy; sisters, Ramona Barraw and Cathy (Ken) Kruse both of Central Lake, Michigan and nine grandchildren, the obituary states.
A visitation to celebrate her life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy, with a celebration dinner following the visitation at the Quincy Event Hall.
