Obsidian Entertainment has just made a huge announcement regarding one of its most famous titles. Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire, the sequel of the popular isometric RPG created by the company will be coming to PC on April 3,2018.
As stated in the Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire website, the game will feature both old and new companions to travel with through the Deadfire, an island chain comprising a huge city, fiery volcanoes, mighty pirates, and desolate sandbars. You’ll be able to navigate through Deadfire in your own ship, the Defiant, upgrade it, hire new crew members, and even take it into combat using a dedicated ship-to-ship combat system developed especially for this game.
Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire is the product of the partnership between Obsidian Entertainment and indie publisher Versus Evil and is coming sooner than anyone expected. The game is already available for pre-order through Obsidian.net, GOG, and Steam and has three different editions:
Standard Edition – $49.99: Includes the base game on Steam or GOG
Deluxe Edition – $59.99: Includes the base game on Steam or GOG plus the Digital Explorer’s Pack.
Obsidian Edition – $74.99: Includes the base game on Steam or GOG plus the Digital Explorer’s Pack and the game’s three packs of DLC.
