‘Abused Games’ Twitter celebrates the video games that were loved to death

Or not so much, in the case of Superman 64
A Twitter account highlights some classic carts, cards and discs that have been well loved — but maybe a little too much — and still find them a good home.
Abused Games, which has been around for about five years but returned to posting in December after about six months off, curates eBay listings of old games that are definitely not in mint condition, but according to their listings are at least perfectly playable.
Most are missing cases and instruction manuals, of course. Some have absolutely no identifying information on them left.

Others are shown off more for the humor value of what happens when a label gets worn off a 21-year-old cartridge and the kids come back at it with a sharpie. This one rated the most likes for that chuckle-inducing stick figure drawing.

And some others weren’t loved so much after all, such as Pokémon Snap on the Dreamcast, which comes with some editorial commentary.

And everybody’s horrific favorite Superman for the Nintendo 64 made a roundup about 2 1/2 years ago, with a rather astute observation about its condition.
@AbusedGames this one deserved the abuse.
GoldenEye 007 shows up a lot, and Pierce Brosnan seems always to have something done to his face.

Abused Games is not the seller; the account is just drawing out highlights from the online marketplace. If you’re interested in them, you’ll probably have to search eBay itself with keywords to get to the listing although some have ended or been pulled back for other reasons.
