During the season premiere of “Celebrity Big Brother” Wednesday night, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman did not hide her true feelings when it came to her recent stint in Washington.
Omarosa made her reality TV debut on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” in 2004, starring Donald Trump before he was elected president. She returned to the franchise in 2008 to appear in “Celebrity Apprentice.” Omarosa rose to fame as one of reality TV’s most controversial stars known for her public feuds with her fellow co-stars, including Piers Morgan and La Toya Jackson.
Trump and Omarosa had maintained a close working relationship after her TV debut. In 2010, they created a dating show called “The Ultimate Merger,” which aired on TV One. Trump served as one of the show’s executive producers. In 2013, she returned to NBC for “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.”

She said that she’s going to enjoy her time in the “Big Brother” house away from “cable news, from Twitter, from newspapers, from the press.” But what she won’t be able to avoid will be the cameras at every turn on the show, which has a live stream for viewers 24/7.
But one thing was for sure: Omarosa sounded more determined than ever to win this season.
“As I enter into the ‘Big Brother’ house, as challenges come my way, I will seek to overcome each and every one of them,” she said. “I’m exceptional in everything that I do and aspire to do. I was the queen of the boardroom now I’ll be the queen of the ‘Big Brother’ house. Celebrities, you better watch your back.”
Part two of “Celebrity Big Brother’s” premiere airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
