Michigan's April 14 spring game to be played under the lights

Start time for the annual spring game is set for 7 p.m.
ANN ARBOR — The University of Michigan’s 2018 spring football game will be played under the lights.
The annual scrimmage is set to start at 7 p.m. and will be televised live on Big Ten Network, the school announced on Tuesday.
Gates to Michigan Stadium will open at 5 p.m. As always, the event is free and open to the public.
The first episode of Michigan’s “All or Nothing” Amazon Prime series, which is set to debut on the streaming service April 6, will be shown on the Michigan Stadium scoreboard beginning at 5:20 p.m.
According to Michigan, typical procedures remain in place for entrance to the stadium, including no bags.

This is the second time in three years Michigan has hosted its spring game at night. The 2016 game began at 6 p.m.
For most, this will be the first opportunity to see the 2018 Michigan football team at work. Several position battles are up for grabs this spring, including the all-important quarterback position.
The Wolverines begin spring practice this Friday, March 23, and will practice every other day through the end of the month. After taking a break over Easter weekend, the team gets back at it April 3.
Michigan’s 15-practice schedule concludes April 24.
