Cohen, a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter, keeps receiving tweets from people who believe he’s President Trump’s lawyer.
Some have asked the reporter how much he paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Others tweeted their sympathy to the journalist for the unfortunate coincidence.
Others with names similar to other high-profile headline makers also tweeted at Cohen. A woman named Lauren Ingram said she knew how the reporter felt.
Ingram shares a name similar to that of Fox News host Laura Ingraham who has made waves after telling LeBron James to “shut up and dribble.” Ingraham also recently mocked Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg.
Cohen (the reporter) will sadly probably experience more of this in the future as Cohen’s name isn’t leaving the news anytime soon.
Trump’s lawyer’s offices were raided by the FBI Monday. Investigators took documents related to Daniels and former Playmate Karen McDougal.
