OnePlus 6 launch is just around the corner and the company has been revealing several features of its upcoming flagship. The latest teaser put out by OnePlus is about OnePlus 6 camera and the company has compared it to Apple iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S9, and Google Pixel 2.
Until now, not much has been known about the OnePlus 6 camera and its features apart from the dual camera setup. Now, going by the teaser it seems OnePlus is confident that their flagship will be able to compete with the best smartphone cameras. The company has posted some images on Twitter with a caption “ The OnePlus 6 Dual Camera takes on the iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S9, and Google Pixel 2. Can you match the shot to the phone?”
The new teaser by OnePlus is part of the OnePlus 6 Blind Test which the company has put up on its website. The company asks users to vote for pictures captured by above-mentioned smartphones. The options in the OnePlus 6 blind test are four sets of images. There is one set that shows photos of architecture, one is a set of low light images and the other two sets have portrait images in different lights.
OnePlus wants users to take the blind test and vote for the best picture on its website. Moreover, they can also refer friends to it and the top three scorers on the leaderboard have been promised a free OnePlus 6. The company will also give out other gifts as well.
If we talk about OnePlus 6 camera, the company also posted an image which is the world’s first Vogue magazine cover shot on OnePlus 6.
When it comes to camera features, previous rumors have suggested that the OnePlus 6 will come with a vertical dual camera setup at the back. It might sport a 20MP primary and a 16MP secondary sensor. The front camera of the OnePlus 6 is rumored to be a 16MP sensor for selfies.
OnePlus 6 launch is set for May 16 in London followed by India launch on May 17.
