Malacañang confirmed on Thursday that the Philippines has filed several diplomatic protests with China in relation to the Asian power's activities in areas claimed by Manila in the South China Sea. Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. echoed the statement of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano before the House of Representatives on Wednesday that the Philippines has filed several dozens of diplomatic protests "over the past two years."
