Steve Fisher, Senior Vice President of Payments at eBay, said:
With the new integration, eBay customers will have a quick option to complete their transaction within the app instead of logging into a separate payment site. Apple Pay will be just one of the many payment options eBay is planning to offer on its platform, according to the company.
Next year, eBay plans to extend the new payments experience to more users and expects to get the majority of its customers to use the checkout option by 2021.
