With the Big Shopping Days sale, Flipkart is preparing to counter the arch-rival Amazon, hosting the Prime Day sale. Flipkart will be offering discounts, exchange deals on a wide range of products across different categories. The company is also launching new products during the sale mirroring Amazon’s strategy to lure customers into making a purchase. For the Big Shopping Days sale, Flipkart has partnered with State Bank of India (SBI) to offer an instant discount of up to 10 percent. In order to avail the SBI offer, you will need to make the purchase with your SBI credit card. The terms and conditions attached to the discount offer have not been revealed by Flipkart yet.
During the Big Shopping Days sale, Flipkart has come up with “blockbuster deals” on products across different categories. The “blockbuster deals” offerings will be refreshed every 8 hours, as seen in the Infographic for the sale on Flipkart’s website. As per the infographic advertising, the e-commerce giant also mentions that the prices of the products will drop every 8 hours. Flipkart will also be offering some sort of “rush hour deals” between 4 PM to 6 PM tomorrow. The e-commerce platform has also confirmed that there will be several products that will be on Big Shopping Days sale with a discounted price ticket for the first time ever. The Big Shopping Days sale on Flipkart will apparently see “price drops like never before”. Similar to Amazon Sale offerings, Flipkart is also offering a No Cost EMI option too.
For Smartphones and their accessories, Flipkart is offering exchange deals with a buyback guarantee. The electronics appliances are up for the sale with an extended warranty and no cost EMI option. You can get u to 80% off on the electronics during the sale. You can also avail up to 70% discount offers on other home appliances and Television with a no-cost EMI option. Flipkart is offering 50 to 80% off on fashion brands like Puma, Adidas, and more for the sale. The furniture department also comes with a no-cost EMI option and a whopping 80% discount on the major brands.
Both Flipkart and Amazon start their big sales tomorrow, where Flipkart starts at 4 PM and is giving 44 hours of extra offers and discounts. The Amazon sale starting 12 PM is offering discounts and offers on almost all products across different categories and Flipkart is not doing anything different here. But, Amazon is also adding content to its digital streaming platform Amazon prime Video for the sale. However, the sale benefits are only for the Amazon Prime members which is not the case with Flipkart. Anyone with a will to spend money can take part in the Flipkart sale. Also, Flipkart hasn’t revealed the entire terms and conditions for the sale, so we can’t say anything for sure, as of now. Amazon India also claims that this year’s Prime Day sale will be bigger than that in last year and will be on for 36-hours straight. Last year, the sale was live for 24-hours only. The e-commerce giant says that the Prime Day this year will see over 200 exclusive new product launches from top brands including Bosch, Acer, Intel, OnePlus, HP among the other. There will be discount offers on Amazon Echo devices, All New Kindle, Fire TV Stick, Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite. Flipkart is still offering more sale hours than Amazon and the Rush Hour deals from Flipkart are similar to the Prime Day Flash Sales on Amazon. The sales on the platform go live in 5 days.
