Mark Wahlberg loves the idea of American-made products so much he’s putting his own money into the idea.
The world-famous actor and producer is reportedly planning to open his own Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ohio, with a close friend and business partner.
“Wahlberg is partnering with businessman Jay Feldman, who owns eight Chevy dealerships throughout southeast and mid-Michigan,” Page Six reports . “They say they’ve been friends for several years and became partners in Wahlburgers restaurants in Cleveland and Georgia.”
In a statement, Wahlberg said he was excited to “represent an iconic brand like Chevrolet.”
Although he might be new to the car industry, this isn’t Wahlberg’s first business venture. He co-owns the Wahlburgers burger chain with his brothers, a nutrition supplement line, and a movie production company.
