Amazon exclusive brand, 10.or (Tenor) launched a new phone last week, called the 10.or D2 for a starting price tag of Rs 6,999. The 10.or D2 is the direct successor to the 10.or D. The newly launched smartphone will be available in India starting today 12PM, but only for the Amazon Prime members. Tomorrow, i.e August 28, will be the open sale for the 10.or D2, meaning it will be available to everyone via Amazon India store.
Considering the price of the phone looks like, with the 10.or D2 the smartphone maker is aiming to take on the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, the Coolpad Mega 5A, the InFocus Vision 3, and the Infinix Smart 2. The 10.or D2 will be available for a starting price of Rs 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The price of the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model goes up to Rs 7,999.
Compared to the 10.or D, the newly launched 10.or D2 comes with much bigger screen and better software. Apart from that, most of the specs of the 10.or D and the 10.or D2 are all the same. The 10.or D2 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 1440x720pixels resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone looks a like the 10.or D with thick bezels all around. Sadly, the there’s no fingerprint sensor on the 10.or D2, so you’ll either have to manually unlock the phone or use the face unlock feature.
Under the hood, the 10.or D2 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor clubbed with Adreno 308. On the software front, the 10.or D2 runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The camera setup of the 10.or D2 is similar to that of the 10.or D.
The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensor paired with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and single tone LED flash. The rear camera also packs several camera features like — HDR, low light enhancement, beauty and panorama. On the front, the 10.or D2 includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 large aperture and single tone flash. It comes with several camera features like beauty, selfie countdown, and face detection. The 10.or D2 is backed by a 3200mAh battery with 5V/1A charging capability.
During today’s sale, the 10.or D2 will be available in two colours — beyond black and glow gold. Furthermore, as a part of the launch offer, Amazon has partnered with Punjab National Bank and IndusInd Bank to offer 10 per cent instant discount to customers on buying the phone with credit and debit cards. Amazon has also partnered with Jio to offer Jio football offer — Rs 2200 cashback – to customers. In addition, it is also offering no-cost EMI option, an additional Rs 500/Rs 1,000 off on exchange and free additional 1year warranty for Amazon Prime members.
