Movie premiere party turns into singalong thanks to David Bowie

Spies at the Sunset Tower Hotel spot said Andy Cohen was with John Mayer at one table, and Food Network chef Anne Burrell was nearby. Dornan and Pike “walked in for late-night cocktails,” and “the room was buzzing about the film having Oscar chatter. Pike was wearing a low-cut nude gown and looked beautiful.”
Later, former Marvel CEO David Maisel “showed off his music chops and started to play the piano.”
That’s when “Private War” executive producer Jonathan Fuhrman and Burrell “joined him and sang a David Bowie song.
The restaurant erupted into cheers and others started to sing.” At the premiere, guests included Robert Pattinson, Michael Mann and Annie Lennox — who wrote a song for the film about late war correspondent Marie Colvin.
“Annie said she’s basically stopped writing and performing because she’s become an activist,” a source told us. But “she was drawn to this film, as she personally met Marie. .. Annie felt a strong connection to this film, sat down at the piano, and immediately the lyrics came to her.”
