Rockstar has snuck a Red Dead Redemption 2 Bully Easter Egg into a the Gunslinger side quest chain “The Noblest of Men, and a Woman.” Using the following steps, you’ll be able to find the specific weapon in no time.
In the lead up to Red Dead Redemption 2 ‘s full reveal, there was speculation that another Rockstar franchise would be taking the lead. I’m talking about a possible Bully 2. While Red Dead Redemption 2 obviously isn’t that game, there is a Red Dead 2 Bully easter egg revolver out there on the range. You’ll need to complete an entire Gunslinger mission to get the unique weapon, taking out Black Belle, Flaco Hernandez, and several others. With the following help, you too can complete the steps to finish The Noblest of Men, and a Woman and pick up Calloway’s Revolver, the weapon that references Bully.
Starting with Chapter 2, Theodore Levin and Jim “Boy” Calloway will be sitting at the bar in Keane’s Saloon. This is on the east side of Valentine. Talking to him will give you four photos and a camera, triggering the multi-step quest known as “ The Noblest of Men, and a Woman.” Each photo corresponds to one of the targets for your quest. Press X/A when holding the photo to read the text on the back to trigger a waypoint and start that particular gunslinger mission.
Flaco Hernandez is located near Cairn Lake, southeast of Colter. This is near your initial campsite in the first chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2. As you approach Flaco’s camp, you’ll encounter several armed guards. You can either threaten them to make them back down or take them down. You’ll find Flaco inside the shack, and you can call him out with your weapon holstered to start the duel. Hold R2/RT lightly, wait for the slow motion, adjust for a headshot and take him down. After the duel is over, you’ll have a chance to grab Flaco’s unique revolver. Just remember to snap a photo of his corpse before you head out.
For Emmet Granger, you’ll need to venture to the small homestead east of Flatneck Station. After speaking to Emmet, you’ll be asked to clean his hog pen. Press Square/X near the manure to scoop it up while holding a pitchfork and then drop it into the waiting wheelbarrow. After the cutscene that follows, you’ll need to hold R2/RT to place dynamite in the manure. After the events unfold, Emmet will demand that you duel him. Hold R2/RT lightly, wait for the slow motion, adjust for a headshot and take him down. After Emmet is dead, be sure to pick up his unique weapon and snap a photo of his entire body.
Directly north of Saint Denis, there’s a stilt cabin at Bluewater Marsh. You can find Black Belle located there. As you make your introductions, you’re accosted by bounty hunters. Press Square/X to detonate explosives on Black Belle’s mark. After that, help her eliminate the various waves of enemies that descend upon you. As soon as the Gatling gun wagon enters the fray, be sure to prioritize the enemy utilizing it. More enemies will continue to appear for some time, so eliminate them and make sure no one reaches the turret. Once everything is over, Black Belle will no longer be with us. Photograph her corpse and move on, as there’s no unique weapon for you to claim this time around.
Speaking to the clerk at the Rhodes train station ticket booth will get you started towards finding Billy Midnight. Just hold L2/LT and press X/A to ask the pertinent questions. A train will pull into the station after this conversation. Hop aboard and enter the bar car to find Billy waiting. After a brief conversation, you’ll end up in a chase scene that ends up on top of a carriage. This is where you’ll duel Billy. Hold R2/RT lightly before triggering Dead Eye and firing. Make note that Billy plans on crouching, so aim low to take him out. Even if he’s disarmed Billy will take his own life with another gun. Claim his personal pistol and capture a photograph of his corpse to end this mission.
Once all four gunslingers are dead, you’ll need to complete the Chapter 4 quest “A Fine Night of Debauchery.” Once that’s done, return to the saloon in Valentine. If you ask the bartender about Calloway, he’ll tell you where to find both him and Theodore Levin. You’re headed to the Grand Korrigan riverboat in Saint Denis. Talking to the guard positioned outside will trigger a cutscene. After that plays out, you’ll need to seek out Slim Grant, your final target.
For Slim, you’ll need to head to the sheriff’s office in Annesburg. Speaking to the local law will lead you towards an outlaw camp to the west, on the north side of the river. Your goal is to capture Slim, who’s currently tied to a tree. Since there are only a few gunmen at the camp, you should have no problem clearing out the threats. Once done, cut Slim Grant free and stow him on your horse. You’ll need to take him to a northeastern dropoff point near Brandywine Drop. This will eventually trigger a duel. Hold R2/RT like normal, trigger the slow motion, and take out your target. The unique weapon that drops from this encounter, Calloway’s Revolver, bears the phrase “Canis Canem Edit” on both sides of its barrel. This refers to the name Bully released under in PAL regions. With this weapon, you’ve found the Red Dead Redemption 2 Bully Easter Egg.
