Apple authorised distributors have started to accept pre-orders of the recently launched iPad Pro range. The new Apple iPad Pro range will start selling in India on November 16 and comes in two sizes- 11-inch and 12.9-inch. Apple iPad Pro (2018) price and offers The Apple iPad Pro (2018) 11-inch Wi-Fi only model starts at Rs 71,900 while the Wi-Fi + Cellular model starts at Rs 85,900. On the other hand, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 89,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 1,03,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The new iPad Pro range is available at EMI plans starting at Rs 3,183. Offers include 5% cashback on Citi credit cards and Axi Bank debit and credit cards. Also, there is ‘No Cost EMI’ offer with Bajaj Finserv.
Apple iPad Pro (2018) specs: The Apple iPad Pro (2018) 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions have identical specs. While the 11-inch variant offers a 11-inch Retina screen with 2388×1668 pixels the 12.9-inch version offers a 12.9-inch Retina screen with 2732×2048 pixels resolution. Both comes with ProMotion tech and TrueTone. Both are powered the A12X Bionic processor along with a next-gen Neural Engine and embedded M12 co-processor. The tablets feature a 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 7MP TrueDepth front-facing sensor.
When compared to the older iPad Pad Pro, the bezels on all the four sides have been sliced, eliminating the TouchID fingerprint sensor. There is FaceID instead. It is also the first to support USB Type-C port and is backed by a larger battery that is claimed to deliver up to 10 hours of web surfing. Both supports the Apple Pencil (2nd-generation) accessory that sticks magnetically on to the side of the new iPad Pro. It costs Rs 10,900 and needs to be purchased separately.
