Some Telltale Games episodic series, like Jurassic Park, The Walking Dead and Back to the Future, have been pulled from Steam. The developer is currently being liquidated.
A handful of Telltale Games titles, including episodic series based on Jurassic Park, Back to the Future and the Monkey Island series, are no longer available for sale on Steam. Those titles have been delisted from Valve’s digital storefront, though some of those products are still for sale on other platforms, like the PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store.
The developer’s most popular product, Telltale’s The Walking Dead series, has also been removed from sale on Steam. It’s possible that the studio’s entire catalog will be removed from sale in the coming days. Other sellers, like Humble Bundle, are still selling seasons of The Walking Dead.
Series such as Telltale’s Game of Thrones, Batman and The Wolf Among Us are currently still available on Steam.
Telltale Games is currently liquidating its remaining assets, according to a report from GameDaily .
The developer laid off the vast majority of its employees in September and announced it planned to shut down. That closure happened in the midst of The Walking Dead’s final season, and the developer said it hoped to finish the series even as the studio shuttered. Telltale eventually struck a deal with The Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment to bring closure to the multi-season episodic game.
Former Telltale employees are suing the company in a class-action lawsuit, alleging that it violated labor laws when it laid off hundreds of employees .
