Earlier today, Infinity Ward, the studio that started the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise, was evacuated following a bomb threat. According to reports, Los Angeles police arrived at Infinity Ward and successfully evacuated all of the studio’s employees.
It has yet to be determined who issued the bomb threat, but it’s worth mentioning that this threat comes at a time where companies across the United States are being evacuated for similar threats. A Bitcoin e-mail scam, attempting to ransom $20,000 worth of virtual currency out of the organizations being threatened, is possibly to blame for these widespread incidents.
