Alphabet’s Verily has received FDA approval for its health watch for use as an ECG. The study watch is being created to gain insight into conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and PTSD.
Alphabet’s Verily has been working on the Study Watch since April of 2017 and now it’s electrocardiogram (ECG) technology has received Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, allowing the watch to be used as a Class II medical device.
