After Refusing To Concede Election, Stacey Abrams To Air Voting Rights Super Bowl Ad

Stacey Abrams — the Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate who emphasized in her “concession” speech nearly two weeks after losing the election that it was “not a speech of concession” — will be airing a voting rights ad during the Super Bowl this coming Sunday.

According to Huffington Post, Abrams’ political group Fair Fight “has bought airtime on Georgia affiliates during Sunday’s NFL broadcast so the Atlanta Democrat can push for election law changes.”
“Fair Fight is spending $100,000 on the initial ad buy in multiple markets beyond the more expensive metro Atlanta market. Digital ads will be targeted to metro Atlanta residents,” HuffPo reports.
Stacey Abrams lost her bid to become governor of Georgia when Republican Brian Kemp defeated her by a margin of nearly 55,000 votes – 1,978,408 to 1,923,685. Despite the insurmountable gap, she refused to concede by claiming the election had been stolen.
