During today’s earnings call, an Activision representative seemingly confirms that this year’s Call of Duty (2019) will feature a single player campaign.
Although Black Ops 4 did not feature a single player campaign, it looks like this year’s Call of Duty iteration will. Publisher Activision Blizzard made the announcement during its quarterly earnings call.
While the focus of the call is bound to be Activision Blizzard’s announcement that over 800 employees have been laid off from the company, there was a lot of discussion surrounding its forthcoming titles as well. Specifically, an Activision representative suggested that this year’s Call of Duty will “resonate very positively with our community.”
Once again, Activision plans to achieve that by way of a varied Call of Duty experience that includes a campaign, multiplayer, and co-op gameplay.
