We don’t have the normal version yet, but there are already rumours of a Samsung Galaxy Home mini smart speaker with Bixby. Could it arrive at Unpacked?
Even though Samsung’s Galaxy Home smart speaker hasn’t hit the shops yet, there are already rumours for a mini version. It appears this is largely to help the device compete with the likes of Google and Amazon.
It’s hard to say exactly when Samsung will announce the new speaker. Although it was tipped for a possible unveiling at CES 2019 in Las Vegas, it didn’t happen.
However, there’s an upcoming Samsung Unpacked event that could be perfect. It takes place on 20 February in San Francisco and London, just before MWC kicks off in Barcelona.
The event is likely to be for the Galaxy S10 smartphone, but the firm says it will “unveil new devices that promise to usher in new Galaxy experiences based on 10 years of innovations”.
