March Madness gets underway with the First Four round on Tuesday, March 19.
It’s that time of the year again. Basketball fans or not, college hoops devotee or otherwise, the next three weeks are going to be dominated by March Madness.
The NCAA’s men basketball tournament, to give its proper name, might not get underway in earnest until Thursday but the first tip-off is actually scheduled for Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio.
Here’s everything you need to know
As is tradition, the city will in fact host the First Four round—the play-in games for lower-ranked seeds—featuring number 16 seeds Prairie View A&M vs Fairleigh Dickinson, before number 11 seeds Temple and Belmont lock horns.
