Black Shark, a gaming smartphone manufacturer based in China and backed by Xiaomi, is now setting up operations in India. The company will be headquartered in Bengaluru and will be headed by David Li, VP of Black Shark Global. He will manage the overall operations in India.
Along with him, Chirag Nagendra, former OnePlus communications head, will also be part of the team and will be responsible for brand building and communications strategy as Black Shark India’s Marketing Head.
Xiaomi has sent out a press release announcing the arrival of Black Shark in India and is currently setting up the operations. As for the product launch, the company said that the official product launch date will be announced later.
