Claptrap voice actor David Eddings makes a claim of Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford physically assaulting him in a hotel lobby during a payment dispute
We were informed not very long ago that David Eddings would not be reprising his role as Claptrap in the upcoming Borderlands 3. Now we might know more about why. Guess what, it’s Randy Pitchford again.
Besides the obvious pay issue that the two couldn’t resolve. Apparently, Eddings was assaulted by Randy Pitchford. An incident he recently tweeted about after the two went at it online:
So this adds a whole new layer of volatile behavior from the CEO of Gearbox himself.
