On Monday, May 13, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band The Who headlined Madison Square Garden in New York for a great turnout of loyal fans.
This show was a part of their “Moving On!” tour and as soon as the living rock legends took the stage, their presence was met with a raucous response. They were able to excel with and without the orchestra, and Pete Townshend’s prowess on guitar is unparalleled.
Similar to Daltrey’s solo show at Forest Hills Stadium last June, The Who began their set with “Overture,” and it was followed by “It’s a Boy” and “1921.
