Simultaneously,20th Century Fox Television will now be rebranded as 20th Television, while Fox 21 Television Studios will be renamed ‘Touchstone Television’. ‘Touchstone Television’ stems from a Disney-owned TV brand that had been retired in 2007, brought back into circulation with a new brand-consistent logo. These changes follow suit with Disney’s January 2020 announcement that it was rebranding the Fox film properties it picked up in the Fox acquisition.21st Century Fox had been renamed 20th Century Studios, while Fox Searchlight Pictures had been rebranded Searchlight Pictures. 20th Century Fox was initially formed in the 1935 merger between Twentieth Century Pictures and Fox Film Corporation.
