Samsung’s Unpacked event is scheduled for August 5th and here is everything the brand is expected to launch at the event.
Samsung has Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event scheduled on August 5th where it’s expected to take the wraps off a slew of new hardware, including the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. Like most other launch events this year, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event has also been shifted online and will be livestreamed via the company’s social media accounts and YouTube channel. We’ll be taking a look at all the devices Samsung is expected to launch at the event. If rumours are anything to go by, the vendor may take wraps off the all-new Galaxy Z Fold 2 (aka Galaxy Fold 2) smartphone, Galaxy Watch 3, and more alongside the next-gen Galaxy Note smartphones. The next-gen Note-series smartphone is expected to be called Samsung Galaxy Note 20. The rumours about the handset have been doing the rounds of the rumour mill for quite some time. This year the smartphone is said to come in three models, namely Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Samsung Galaxy Note 20+, and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and tout the same boxy design with sharp corners with Infinity-O display as its predecessor Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series. As far as the specifications go, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will reportedly ship with Dynamic AMOLED display with centred punch-hole atop, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and QHD+ resolution. The handsets are expected to be powered by Exynos 990/ Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with fast LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage that may be expandable via a microSD card. Software-wise, the Note 20 series will run Android 10-based One UI 2.
