It’s starting with music videos. But don’t assume it’ll end there. Today Apple launched Apple Music TV. On the surface, it’s pretty much what it sounds like: music videos, non-stop. The free and curated channel is U.S.-only for now — digital rights, how we love you — and can be found in both the Apple Music app and the Apple TV app. According to Apple, Apple Music TV will feature “exclusive new music videos and premiers, special curated music video blocks, and live shows and events.” That is a big clue, along with the title in the promo image, which reads “Music Videos + More.” We’ve seen in the past few pandemic months that live music shows have been hit even harder than the travel and hospitality industries.
