Fire brigades and aviation experts have remained on the site of the accident which reportedly occurred at about 4:45 pm local time.
Five people were killed after a tourist plane and a microlight aircraft collided in Loches, Indre-et-Loire, in west-central France, on Saturday, France Bleu radio reported.
