Microsoft has introduced a simple workaround that can resolve the issue in a few quick steps.
(Image: Microsoft) A recent Windows 10 bug found users unable to reset their PCs. Some individuals with “certain hardware configurations” have been unable to restore their computer to a previous state, but now there’s a fix. The “Reset this PC” feature is typically found under the Recovery section in the Settings menu. When issues arise with the PC configuration, Windows 10 users can utilize this option to return their computer to factory settings. A recent bug ended up disabling this feature for anyone still running Windows 10 version 2004.
