Kalahari Resorts Texas opened in Round Rock Thursday.
The largest indoor waterpark in the United States opened to the general public just outside of Austin, Texas, on Thursday, the day after the state became the first to count 1 million confirmed coronavirus infections and as Texas grapples with growing numbers of new cases and hospitalizations. Besides housing the country’s largest indoor waterpark with 223,000 square feet of slides and pools, the Statesman reported the resort offers three acres of outdoor swimming, nearly 1,000 hotel rooms, an indoor theme park and a convention center.
