Samsung’s Exynos 2100 could be the best Android processor of the year

A new year means new processors, and Qualcomm got a little bit of a headstart with the introduction of the Snapdragon 888 back in December. However, with the Galaxy S21 unveiling slated to take place in just two days, Samsung announced its latest chipset with the Exynos 2100. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcBqg6Y_cnw&feature=emb_title This is a flagship-level processor built on the same 5nm process as the aforementioned SD888 and Apple’s new A14 Bionic. Why does the 5nm process matter so much? Well, these new processors are intended to provide more efficient power usage, while providing a slight performance boost compared to chipsets built using the older 7nm process. Along with being more power-efficient, the Exynos 2100 also has an integrated 5G modem with support for both sub-6GHz and mmwave.
