Google Maps is adding new features to let you add missing roads and submit edits for incorrect road information, although these will be vetted for approval. You can also submit photo updates on Maps.
Google Maps isn’t without its share of flaws, and the tech giant is adding new features that will let you fix them. Google announced today three new features that will give you the ability to make Maps more accurate. The navigation app is introducing a new editing experience on desktop that will let you add missing roads by clicking on the side menu button on Maps’ website and then choosing the “Edit the map” option where you’ll see “Missing road”. You can add a missing road by drawing a line as well as “rename roads, change road directionality, and realign or delete incorrect roads.
