420 has emerged over the last few years as a major date in any pot-lover’s calendar, especially as weed gets legalized in more and more states. For those who want to end their holiday with some good takeout, their (legal) marijuana product of choice and a movie, Netflix has long been the place to go. Though in recent years the streamer has lost some of its best stoner movies (and all the David Attenborough nature docs whose majesty is improved by 420), the streamer still has a decent batch of trippy films, stoner comedies and cannabis documentaries for you to enjoy. Between Two Ferns: The Movie Once called one of the best stoner comedies by weed news site CelebStoner, Between Two Ferns: The Movie takes Zack Galifianakis’ awkward fake public access talk show and blows it up to feature length with an even bigger batch of celebrities than usual. Chef Nothing will bring on “the munchies” more than this tale of a chef who opens a food truck after losing his job at a restaurant. Po’ boys and brisket have never looked better than in this personal movie from Iron Man director Jon Favreau.
